When two amazing artists with combined Spotify plays of over 30 million join forces it’s time to listen. Jacob Browne and Luke Potter are Starlight Alice and, having worked together on writing songs for others and their solo projects, they decided it was time to come together and create their new sound. The new UK duo have come up with another catchy song with heartfelt lyrics that encapsulates their original ‘folk/Americana/pop’ sounds.

Following the amazing critical reception to their recent singles, from eminent publications as Earmilk, IGGY, Lefuturewave, Lost in The Manor, Illustrate Magazine and Record of the Day, ‘Pieces of My Heart’ is an energy pulsed song that talks about the savage end of a relationship and the anger and hurt that is felt. It’s also about moving on and trying to repair things by “picking up the pieces of my heart…” It’s folk, pop and rock coming together to create a genre that is both new and right for now – it will grab you, throw you around and leave you hitting the repeat play button.
